Rooftop Garden, Coal Harbour

The focal point of this 2,000 sq ft Japanese inspired rooftop garden is a 100 year old maple transplanted from the client’s original garden in West Vancouver.

This West Coast interpretation of a Japanese and alpine garden includes koi ponds, meandering path ways, elevation changes, stepping stone bridges, and a small waterfall.

Working in collaboration with James Cheng Architect and ASPAC Developments, during the building’s construction phase ensured the added depth and structural reinforcement to the concrete slab would accommodate the water, soil and plantings load.
