Skwachàys Lodge Guest Suites

Sabina Hill joined with six talented teams of Aboriginal artists and Vancouver interior designers to transform the Vancouver Native Housing Society residence into Skwachàys Lodge Aboriginal Boutique Hotel, a new sustainable model for supportive housing, and a for-profit hospitality business.

Sabina teamed up with two of Vancouver’s top interior design firms, MCM Interiors and Inside Design Studio, as well as long time artistic collaborator, Tlingit artist Mark Preston, to reimagine four of the eighteen rooms. This cross-fertilization between artists celebrates a legacy of exchange between art and design.
