Ridge House

Sabina Hill with Mark Preston

Sabina's inspiration for this ten-piece private collection, Salt Spring Island residence, is the regional influence of the Pacific North West reflected in the colours, materials and motifs of each artwork.

The custom dining collection, Salmon Paddle tableupholstered leather chairs, area rug, Wasco sideboard, and Talking Stick wall panel, is inspired by Northwest coast mythology and the natural beauty of the site which is home to a grove of arbutus trees. The living room, with its custom  Spindle Whorl coffee table, Leather weave side tables, Salish Twill area rug references traditional Coast Salish weaving culture. The Traveller's Triptych pays tribute to two renowned BC artists, Bill Reid and Charles Edenshaw.
